The International Consortium on Geo-disasters (ICGdR) together with the Czech scientific community will be holding the 13th International Symposium on Geo-disaster Reduction in Prague between the 9th and 11th August 2015. The forthcoming event is an opportunity to bring together geoscientists, engineers and social scientists to collaborate on disaster reduction worldwide.

The platform of ICGdR offers challenging topics for researchers working on different themes connected with earthquakes, landslides, volcanic activity, tsunamis, floods or atmospheric hazards. The geoenvironmental disaster mitigation and recovery community is also warmly welcome.

Social events will be prepared for those who would like to enjoy the charming atmosphere of this historic city.

Welcome to Prague.
